問：師父，昨天早上您告訴我們為何要多謙卑並去除我執，這些我都了解了。您是否能再指引一些訣竅，好讓我們可以確實做到。比如說我們在世上工作，所處的情況一直讓我們的我執冒出來，那該如何克制呢？

你們應該要多做觀音，我注意到你們多數都只坐在那邊做很多觀光，而沒有做觀音。觀音會讓你們更舒服，甚至使身體減少病痛。因為當你往內讓音流注滿全身時，你的能量就會循環更新。你們大部分的能量都從身體外部器官漏掉了，但是當你做觀音的姿勢時，能量就會循環更新；那時你將全部能量收攝往內，而沒有浪費太多到外面。所以盤腿的其中一個原因就是為了保存能量，真的如是。

如果你們懂一些白神通的話，那些人即使不是修瑜伽什麼的，也一樣會建議你們做這類的事。那些會白神通的人保護自己的方法之一就是：當他們感覺到或看到坐在前面的人發出不好的氣氛或能量時，他們就會儘可能盤起腿來並雙手抱胸。所以事實上，這也是一種自然反應。當我們不想與別人交談，或想要防衛自己時，也會把雙臂交叉在胸前，像是把自己封閉起來。而當我們心情愉快，衷心想要歡迎別人時，就會敞開胸懷、張開雙臂，做出不加防備的姿勢。不過當我們感到厭煩或是不喜歡某人，就會想要雙手抱胸，好像自然就會這樣。

所以即使你們不知道為什麼要盤腿，盤腿仍然對你們有益，而觀音甚至保存了更多的能量，對你們的身心各方面也都有好處。不過假如你累了，當然可以稍微伸伸腿，只要你能打坐很好、能入定，就沒關係，姿勢不是真的那麼重要。只是從身體方面來說，觀音有助於保存身體的能量，幫助你保持更佳狀態、更健康。在清晨或是觀音後，如果你照鏡子，會看到自己的皮膚潔淨紅潤、眼睛發亮。

如果你做一會兒觀音，然後再照鏡子，就會看到自己的皮膚好像煥然一新，你會感覺不一樣，看起來不一樣，看起來光亮滑潤。做觀音一段時間之後，你會容光煥發，做觀光之後也一樣，不過做觀音更明顯。任何時候你做了觀音以後，如果你碰巧去浴室照到鏡子，就會發現自己看起來不一樣，皮膚細嫩、煥然一新，臉色紅潤有光澤，就算以前你的皮膚並不紅潤也一樣，而且你的雙眼閃耀著光采！總之，這些技巧的確有幫助，可以讓你們青春長駐。

You ought to do more Quan Yin. I observe that most of you just sit there and do a lot of Light, and don’t do the Sound. The Sound will make you more comfortable and with less sickness, even physically. When you feed it back to your body, it recycles your energy. Most of the energy is lost through the outer apparatus. When you sit in the Quan Yin position, you recycle it. You withdraw all the energy within and not too much is wasted outside. So one of the reasons to cross the legs is to preserve the energy, really.

If you know something about white magic, they will advise you to do something like that, too, even if they are not a yogi or anything. One protection white magicians use is that when they sense or when they see some bad aura or energy from other people who sit in front of them, they cross their legs and maybe cross their hands as well, if they can. So, actually it is natural also when you don’t feel like talking or when you feel defensive, that you cross your arms, too. It’s a kind of closing in. And when you feel lovely, when you want to greet someone with your heart, you just open your arms in a gesture of defenselessness, openly. But when you feel bored or you don’t like the person, you tend to just cross your arms. It seems to be that way.

So even though you don’t know why you cross your legs, it’s still good. And Quan Yin conserves the energy even more. It’s good for you also - physically, psychically, everything. But if you are tired, of course you can stretch your legs a little bit. As long as you can meditate well and enter samadhi, it’s fine. Position is not really that important. Just physically speaking, it helps to also preserve the physical energy. And it helps you stay more well and more healthy. In the morning, or after the Quan Yin meditation, if you look into the mirror, you will see yourself with very clean pinkish skin and bright eyes.

When you do Quan Yin for a while, and then you go look in the mirror, it looks like your skin has renewed itself. You feel different and you look different. You look bright and smooth; you’re glowing after some time of Quan Yin - Quan Quang also, but Quan Yin is more obvious. Whenever you meditate alone with Quan Yin, then if you happen to go into the bathroom and have a look, you look different. Your skin looks new, more tender and you glow with pink, even if you never had pink color before. And your eyes sparkle! Anyway, these are some techniques that really do help; they help you stay young.

With deep compassion for animals and concerned about repeated outbreaks of epidemic diseases among animals and humans, Master has offered the world a fundamental solution to the problem by personally designing a friendly but convincing leaflet entitled “Alternative Living” to remind people to choose the vegetarian diet and stop killing in order to overcome global medical crises and save our fellow beings. Master has also instructed all initiates to share this message with their brothers and sisters in every corner of the world. 問: 基督徒相信世界末日就要來臨了，可否請您做個評論？

答: 西元2000年之前，我在倫敦就說過了，什麼都不會發生，我還會在，而我現在還是好好的！我已經這麼說過了，當時是5月還是什麼時候，也有人問同樣有關2000年的問題，我說：「沒問題，不用恐慌，不會有事的！」結果真的沒事，我們還在這兒，感謝上帝！只因為幾百年前的一些預言，大家看了之後就開始擔心世界末日。當然，世界有可能會毀滅，但因為有這麼多人修行--這麼多團體、這麼多人祈禱，而且我們也將靈性的訊息傳播到世界每個角落，這些靈性能量在某種程度上幫忙中和了世界的否定氣氛，因此我們才會沒事。所以我邀請你們加入修行的行列，讓世界在未來成為更美好的天堂。

Q: The Christians believe that the end of the world is coming. Can you comment on this, please?

M: It might be the end of the bad world, and beginning of the Golden Age. How about that? If you're not ready for it, then it doesn't matter if it ends or it begins. It makes no difference, if you are always the old self. So make yourself new; end your old world. That's what I can predict for now: my world has ended and I begin a new one. We can always end the world and make a new one. Don't wait for the world to end! You end it; you become a master, OK? If you're not, then the world will end you. Maybe you might die tomorrow, and that's the end of your world! I'm not an astrologer or a prophet making prophesy, but I can predict things in a logical way

Q: And someone said that in the year 2000 the whole world will be finished. (Master: Yes.) What do You say about that?

M: I already said in London, before the year 2000, that nothing will happen and that I will still be around. And I am still around! That's what I said. It was in May or something. People ask the same question about the year 2000. I say, “No problem! Don't panic! It's no problem.” And it is no problem - we're still here, thank God! Just because of some predictions a few hundred years ago, people read those predictions and worry about the end of the world. Of course, it might have ended. But because so many people practice spiritually - so many groups, so many prayers, and we also spread our spiritual message to every corner of the world - this spiritual energy helps to neutralize the negative atmosphere of the world to some degree. So we are OK. And we invite you to join and make the world become even a better Heaven in the future.

In recent years, thousands, millions, even trillions of people are practicing the Light and Sound method, so the world has become better. Our world's political conflict has diminished in all the nations, and the people have less fear about the end of the world, or at least about a world war. We can heave a sigh and relax, to rebuild where there is ruin. It might look a little bit chaotic at the moment, but this is just the way it looks after pulling the entire house down; it is messy for the time being. But we will clean it, and we'll make a new house. Whenever you move house or you make some drastic change in your environment, it looks messy at first. It looks very untidy, and unclean, but that is only the changing interim period. I am sure if all of us walk God-like on Earth, we do not need to seek paradise elsewhere.

問: 您能看到並分析周遭人們身上的靈氣嗎？

Aura

Auras are different from light. Auras are different colors: sometimes black, sometimes coffee-colored, and sometimes yellow or red. It depends on the person’s temperament at that time. The enlightened people have a great light around them. That is different from the aura. Everyone has an aura. But the great light of the enlightened person is different. The light around the Buddha and Jesus is called the halo, the magnetic field of the enlightened one. The more enlightened a person is, the brighter is this light around him or her. But only when you have opened the wisdom eye, can you see if a person has light or not. The person who sees the Light inside has light outside also. The person who does not see the Light inside has very dim or very dark, or very low light outside. We call this the aura. The aura of the person who is completely enlightened is very, very bright. The disciple can see this light, because he or she is enlightened. The disciple has the wisdom eye opened, and he or she can see that the Buddha or Jesus has light. So they paint the picture just the way they saw it…. Some people also have some psychic powers; they don’t even practice the Quan Yin Method, but they have the wisdom eye opened a little. They can also see who has the great light, who has golden light, and who has dark coffee-color light. But the best knowledge is your Self. You are the teacher; you are the Buddha. And I want to show you your great wisdom.

Q: Can you see and analyze auras on people around you?

M: I am not interested, I am only interested in the soul, which is always effulgent, always bright, always everlasting and omnipresent.

Of course the people who practice spiritually can see the auras of other people. But that is only the aura of the astral. The highly evolved beings just look at the soul of the person, with or without the aura. The soul is always perfect, brighter than millions of suns put together. It’s just covered sometimes.

There’s another point about why we have to keep ourselves noble and pure. Because people can see us -- the seers, the sages and the pure in heart -- can see our aura. If we do something right, if we are God-realized, we are God-loving and one with God, our aura is golden, brilliant. If we do something wrong – if we hurt other people emotionally, physically, mentally or spiritually -- our aura is dark. People can see us, so we cannot cheat. That’s why we have to keep ourselves beautiful.

問：親愛的師父，您提到內在音流可以治癒所有的創傷，請問這種內在音流聽起來像什麼？

答：內在音流有時聽起來幾乎就像這世界的樂器一樣，好比你們聽蘇格蘭風笛、豎琴或長笛，這些樂器的聲音與內在音流很相似。在某種程度上，這些外在的聲音可以暫時紓解我們的壓力和憂傷，但有時卻起不了作用。一旦我們開天耳，就可以二十四小時持續不斷地聽到內在的音流，聽到內在的天堂音樂，祂可以治癒所有創傷，並教導我們全宇宙的智慧。可是外在的音樂只能讓我們快樂一會兒，並不能教我們更有智慧的事情，也無法讓我們變成更聰明、更有愛心、更慈悲的人。但是內在的音樂就可以完全做到！

Q: Dear Master, You talk about the inner Melody that can heal all wounds. What does this Melody sound like?

M: It sounds almost like outside instruments, sometimes. For example, if you hear the Scottish bagpipes, the harp or the flute, they also resemble the inner Sound. The outer sound can relieve our stress and sorrow to some extent, for a temporary period. Sometimes it doesn’t. But the inner Sound, the inner Melody of Heaven, will play continuously, 24 hours, once we open our so-called spiritual ear. Then we can hear it all the time. And it heals all wounds, and it will teach us all the wisdom of the universe. Whereas, the outer music only makes us happy temporarily but does not teach us any wiser things, and does not change us to become a more intelligent or more loving or more compassionate person. The inner Music will do all that, yes!

問：最近我和同事接了一個案子，可是那位客戶要求特別多，有時甚至到了不講理的地步；我們不但要花很多時間工作，有時即使不是我們的錯，他也把帳算在我們頭上。

起先我和同事都很生氣，惡言惡語地批評他，和他對立，結果氣氛搞得很不好，所以後來我們就試著去了解他特別要求的原因，也試著讓他理解我們的立場。

不過，這件事仍讓我耿耿於懷，覺得自己就是不喜歡他。所以我想知道，是不是透過靈修，我們就能以愛心待人，儘管那些人對我們很惡劣？

Q: My colleagues and I recently worked on a project where the client was very demanding and sometimes even unreasonable, making us work long hours and sometimes blaming us for mistakes even though it wasn’t our fault.

So, at first we became angry, talked badly about him and were very confrontational, but it created a very negative atmosphere. So we tried to talk and understand why he made certain demands and also tried to help him understand us.

But in my heart I still had a very uneasy feeling about work and felt I didn’t like him. So I want to know whether through our spiritual practice we can treat people with love even though we’re treated badly by them.

M: I understand. It’s just your brain that reacted to that special circumstance. It’s not that your heart didn’t love him. Your heart is different than your brain. You use your brain a lot so when you deal with people you also use the brain. The brain says, “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth,” but the heart is different. You do have love; it’s just that you use the brain. Try to use your heart the next time.

He also has his problems, which you don’t understand. His wife may be divorcing him or having an affair with someone else and he comes and takes it out on you. You’re working like mad there, and then here he comes and doesn’t know anything about your labor, about your concentration, about your efforts. He’s just pouring everything on you because he’s also stuffed. He’s depressed and he also may have pressure from his higher boss or maybe his wife or children. The world always puts pressure on everyone and in turn we pressure each other, and that’s the problem.

So maybe in meditation, you can try to send love to him. Tell him, “I wish you all the best and that you’ll become more enlightened soon so that you don’t have to endure all this frustration and anger.” And then meditate and try to understand that he also has problems.

My neighbors also give me problems for nothing all the time. Actually, when I live alone, I don’t have any problems with neighbors or anyone. But sometimes I need to have other disciples around to help me with work because I can’t always do everything by myself. If I’m not working for you guys or for the whole world, I don’t need anyone. But because I’m working, I sometimes need physical help. And then, because of their karma interacting with the neighbor’s karma we have conflicts, sometimes over very small things.

But I always try to understand the neighbor’s point of view and also understand that it’s not his fault. It’s the fault of my attendants or workers or helpers, whoever comes to work in my house. Sometimes they attract this kind of karma to themselves and because it’s my house, my place, I’m in the middle of it. So I never blame the other party. I see into the root of the problem and even tell some of my assistants, “Look, it’s your fault. It’s your combative karma that attracts his combative karma or this kind of reaction from the neighbor. So don’t get angry with him or feel angry inside because from that you create more karma for yourself. And in turn, like a cycle, you’ll attract more of this combative kind of energy and we’ll never be finished with it.”

It’s not just physical. It’s not just mental. It’s not just a verbal argument. It’s the karmic root from somewhere that we sometimes don’t have the ability to see through. And also of course, physically speaking or simply logically speaking, he himself, the boss or whoever, is also human. He has his own problems and sometimes he’s in a bad mood so whatever’s nearby, he just throws at it.

So forgive him and maybe don’t argue with him. Just keep quiet; pray and recite the Holy Names instead. Sometimes he just lets out his air and then later he feels foolish. Because if you don’t answer and don’t react maybe he’ll feel bad and come and apologize.

Try to change your perspective. That adds to the pressure of work for sure. Try to change your perspective of thinking instead of changing the job or changing the person. Try. But you never know: Sometimes we have better karma with someone and sometimes we don’t. We just have to try until it fits.

問：惡是否只是善的另一面？這是否意味著根本沒有惡？

答：不，不能說沒有惡；不過，惡也是從我們而來。本來沒有惡，只因為我們有不好或否定的念頭，我們做了不好或否定的事，或說了不好或否定的話，這些都會影響我們，也會影響周遭的人，因為它們並不是出自善的本質。每當我們的言行思想肯定，出自善的本質時，就會對我們自己、對其他人產生好的影響。每當我們有不好的言行思想時，也會產生不良的影響。任何事物都有能量，都會造成影響。比方說，玫瑰花漂亮又芬芳，因為它是玫瑰花；而乳酪聞起來就有點像很久沒洗腳的味道！每樣東西都有它自己的品質和影響。我們如果在一個小房間裡擺朵玫瑰花，就會覺得滿室芳香；但如果把乳酪或不好的東西，像是動物或自己的排泄物放在房裡，那整個房間都會很難聞。

每樣事物都有能量，都會產生影響。因為我們是上帝，擁有造化的力量，我們和整個造化同一體，我們所造出的任何東西都會影響我們自己和其他人。所以才會有魔或邪惡的產生，這些都是來自我們不好的能量。假如這種能量不斷地累積，大量聚集在一個地方，那個國家就會有災難或麻煩，全國都會受到影響，人民可能會陷入困境，例如傳染時疫、疾病，或發生戰爭、災難等等，那便是否定的能量或魔在作祟。這些都是人類自己造成的。所以我們要注意自己的思想，時時保持單純、高雅、善良，這樣就不用經歷那些情況。因此，為了我們自己，也為了利益每個人，我們必須要修行、要當個好人。

Addictive Activities and Atmosphere

Q: In the sample book it mentions that gambling is one of the things that is forbidden. Does this only refer to gambling in the casino, or any game?

M: Any game that involves a large sum of money and is involved with the kind of competition between people that breeds an addictive and also a kind of competitive atmosphere is considered gambling.

Q: So, football, for example?

M: Football is OK! If you play football with an attitude of sport, as companions, for pleasure only, then it’s all right. But when they play football and they hit each other when they lose, it’s no good.

I think in any game, we should just remain with the attitude of a gentleman. In the casino, when you lose too much money, you tend to lose your dignity. Also, many people who lose money in the casino come home and then even sell the house, sell the property, sometimes sell the children and wife, just because they get crazy.

There’s also another invisible side to gambling. For those people who like gambling, there are many astral beings or disembodied spirits who hang around them all the time and always push them to do more. So they can never get out of it. Therefore, we had better keep away from such atmospheres.

That’s why the people who begin to gamble, they hardly can get out. Because those disembodied spirits who love gambling always stand around them and sometimes use their bodies to satisfy their desire for gambling. That’s the reason why people find it difficult to quit. It’s the same with alcohol and other heavy drugs, even cigarettes. That’s why we should stay away from these harmful addictive substances and atmospheres. If you have the eyes to see in such places where drugs are heavily used or there is heavy gambling, there are a lot of “mauvais” (meaning bad or immoral) astral beings.

The people who love gambling or drugs or other addictive activities, even if they struggle to stop, they cannot do it. This would be harmful to us. But, for example, if you are very spiritually developed, and then for some special reason you play a game once or something like that, of course it’s not that terrible. You will not be affected by it. But for ordinary people or spiritually weak persons, it’s better to stay away from that, because it becomes addictive.

Let God Be the Healer

Q: Having been informed that as a healer I am not fit to be initiated, I would very much like the Master to advise me how I could join the spiritual experience.

M: I am not telling you to stop your healing, as a healer. I just want to show you a greater way to be a healer, to be a greater healer, the one that Jesus was, the one that when people just touched His garment, they were healed. And Jesus did not even claim it! He said, “Your faith has healed you,” and “My Father has healed you,” because He had no more ego. He didn’t lay hands on people any more; He didn’t pray for people any more. He didn’t do anything!

Everything is the Father’s doing. Hes is the greatest Healer of all time, and that is the status where we should be: all of us, because we are the children of God. We have all this power; the whole universe belongs to us. Anything you want to do, you can, but you have to be One with this power, be One with God and let God do it, not be just one individual healer who has to use physical means to heal people.

So I want to show you to be a greater healer. If you are ready for that, join us. If you are not ready for that, stay where you are and enjoy your work. If you enjoy it, do it. Do whatever is best for you; do whatever makes you feel happiest. You don’t have to come to me, if you are happy where you are. Do whatever suits you at this moment. If you want to join us, we welcome you. There’s no attachment, no condition, no money, now or hereafter, nothing! I am here to serve you. But if you enjoy where you are, it’s OK, too. We are all OK in the eyes of God. Depending on what we want to do, Hes helps us. If you want to stay a nurse, it’s good. But if you want to learn to be a doctor, you have to forsake this work and study further. (Applause)

In all the Bible, you don’t hear that any Prophet heals anyone by physical means. Anyone who is in their presence, if it is the will of the Father, they will be healed through being near the Prophet, or near the Master or through praying to the Master, even if they’re thousands of miles apart. If God wills that person to be healed through the Master, it will be done. But the Master doesn’t do physical things. That’s why Jesus didn’t claim any of the miracles He made. People claimed! People said, “Oh! He healed the sick. He healed the blind.” In fact, it was because they knew it was through Him that they were healed.

But Jesus or any Master such as Abraham or Mohammed never deliberately did things to claim, “OK, it’s me; I healed you.” No, because to do that would defame our Father; it would be very arrogant, I’m sorry to say. If you are near our brothers and sisters who learn the same method and who practice the same way as me, you will hear a lot of miracle stories like that from them, and they will tell you that it’s I who do it. But I always tell them again and again, and now, that I don’t do anything. If there’s any benefit that comes through me, it is the Father who does it! I can’t ever do anything without Hiers will. So every time my people come to me or write me a letter and thank me for any cure of sickness, any miracle or whatever great illness they have escaped, I always thank the Father, because I know it is Hirm and Hiers doing. I know for sure! No one else is there except Hirm, or the Mother, the Mother or the Father.

問：您認為人生的意義是什麼？

答：這說起來長篇大論，不過我把它精簡一下。人生的意義或目的就是要尋求上帝。你們可能會感到驚訝，我來解釋一下。

因為從亙古以來，我們一直都與上帝同在，享受極樂與天堂，我們擁有一切，始終都很快樂。然後我們視為理所當然，因為沒有其他情況可供比較：沒有苦難來讓我們認識極樂，沒有悲傷來讓我們珍惜喜悅，沒有艱辛可以讓我們明白唾手可得的加持，以及上帝賜予我們的安逸舒適。所以上帝送我們來這裡重新學習，然後再度享受天堂，這樣我們回去天堂時才會珍惜。我們了解造化的兩面（師父用手比出天堂和人間），就是如此。所以我們如果沒有找到上帝來平衡我們的生活，或是回歸於祂，我們會遭受很多苦難，因為這不是我們的生活，這裡不是我們的家。物質世界的生活只是暫時的體驗，好讓我們回去天堂時，能更加喜愛上帝、更加珍惜天堂。

The Purpose of Life on Earth

M: That’s a very long, long, long question. But I’ll make it short. The meaning or the purpose of life on Earth, is to find God. You’d be surprised. I will explain. Because we were with God all the time, throughout eternity, we enjoyed bliss and Heaven, we were always happy. We had everything. And we took it for granted, because there was nothing else to compare: no suffering to understand bliss, no sadness to appreciate pleasure, no hardship to understand the ever-ready blessing and all the comfort that God gives to us. So, God sent us here to re-learn again and to enjoy Heaven again, so that when we go back there, we enjoy. We understand both sides of nature. (Master gestures to indicate the directions of Heaven and Earth.) That’s what it is. So if we do not find God in our life to balance this or to return to Hirm, we will suffer a lot, because this is not our life; this is not our house. The physical dimension is just a temporary experience so that we return to Heaven, to enjoy God more and enjoy Heaven more.

Children Are Naturally in 
Contact with God

I think some of you must remember from when you were very young, from the day you were born until the age of three or four. Some of you still remember the contact with God you had all the time. But as we grow older, to ages four, five, six or seven, we begin to learn too many physical experiences. Then the experience with God and the contact with God fades every day. And now we’ve grown up and we’ve forgotten completely. Children are always in contact with God, at least very young children, up to the age of four or five.

Because the connection has just faded a little, it’s very quick to reconnect it. And that’s why the Bible also mentioned that, “You have to become as a child again in order to enter the Kingdom of God.” You have to put down everything and sit in complete concentration on God. That’s difficult, but I can show you how, and I can make it easier. If you know the way, it’s easier.

問：如何在繁忙的工作和壓力中又加進去靈修生活？

答：不是加進去，而是本來就應該採取這種生活方式！但我們忘了在所謂的「生活」中安排靈修，而使得生活欠缺了一小部分，那就是「冥想」和「靜心」，因此我們的生活才會這麼不圓滿、這麼疲憊又飽受苦難。所以我們必須記得這一小部分，這樣生活才會更圓滿，如此而已。這不是附加進去，而是必要的部分，它本來就存在，只是我們遺忘了。

我們在閱讀聖經或摩西五書時，有時會看到古代明師或他們弟子有關上帝和天堂的各種體驗，然後我們也期望：「我願不惜一切代價以獲得相同的體驗。」「為了見到上帝、見到上帝的光、聽到上帝的聲音，我願意付出任何代價。」你們不也是這樣想嗎？好，那就付出一些，一天付出二小時，或甚至一天只要一小時，這並不多！我們每天有24小時為了這個肉體和這個世界而工作，只有將一、兩個鐘頭獻給上帝而已，這並非附加進去，也不是妥協，而是一種生活方式。我們必須使我們的生活變得完整。

事實上，它不會佔用我們很多時間，好比把講電話閒聊的時間省下來打坐十分鐘或半小時，來跟上帝溝通、和上帝聊天、向上帝訴苦、或向祂提出請求；這些時間我們應該拿來跟上帝交談。我們只有一位天父，可是我們卻不跟祂說話；而當祂說話的時候，我們也不聽。難道這就是生活嗎？我們誰的話都聽，就是不聽祂的話，然後才抱怨祂不聽我們的祈禱，抱怨祂不聽我們的要求。祂有！祂一直都有回應，只是我們沒花時間聆聽，我們必須清靜下來，才能夠聽到祂說話。

徒弟:我有一個問題是關於後面那位先生所談到的精神疾病，我常思索這件事，我的祖母曾住精神病院治療，她會聽到聲音，還有好幾年都用頭撞牆壁，最後必須接受前腦業切除手術，因此我花很多時間想知道她是怎麼了?她已經去世了，因此我對她已不感興趣。不過在您的樣本書中提到我們不應該幫助別人。聽說她住在發生革命戰爭的戰場，她有可能是被鬼附身。有人告訴我如果我們的能量中心打開了，低等的振動力就會進來。

我想問的是我們可以做什麼來幫助那些人，或是讓他們處理自己的業障?

第二個問題是可否請您開示為什麼會這樣?因為有時候我們會發現經神有問題的人，他們很努力想克服這種情況，不過我們又無法忍受和他們一起，可是當我們離開他們我又會很同情他們。您可否給我們一些建議，如果遇到這些人怎麼辦?

像那位先生好像常遇到這樣的問題，我們怎麼處理這種情況?是不去幫助他們?或是怎麼幫助他暪們?或是袖手旁觀讓他們自己處理業障，

師父:我有說不應該幫助別人嗎?

徒弟:我讀到的好像是……

師父:如果不需要幫助別人，那我在這裡幹嘛?

徒弟:我想我讀到的是我們不應該去醫治別人的病。

師父:靈力治病是不一樣的，跟解救別人的痛苦是不一樣。靈力治病是指用神通影響別人的意識，這是不一樣的。

徒弟:可以請您開示一下如何幫助那些精神極度異常的人?

師父:時間到了他們自然會幫助自己。你能幫多少就幫多少，就你所知的幫他們。我們應該隨時幫助那些需要我們幫忙的人，不論是在心理上或精神上、在物質上或靈修上都應該幫助他人，不過能接受多少就要看他們自己了。不要忘了即使他們是瘋子，他們還是上帝。他們扮演愚痴，他們喜歡這個角色，時間到了，他們自己會清醒。你能幫多少就幫多少，這是為你自己好，不然你就沒有慈悲心了，那樣對你不好，瞭解嗎?你可以為他們祈禱，和他們聊聊天，握他們的手，給他們東西吃，你可以做任何你能力所及之事，使你自己感覺所做的事是對的，這才重要。重要的是你自己，不是他們，真的!他們扮演愚痴來喚起你的慈悲心，他們選擇當窮人，你才可以施捨。他們選擇當瘋子，所以你為自己的清醒感謝上帝。每件事必定擁有相對的比較，你才會知道你有多好、有多幸福。重要的是你自己，對每個人來說，他自己是最重要的，記得這一點。你做的任何事情都是為你自己，在宇宙中，沒人真正需要你的任何東西，事實是這樣。不過那時候，他們並不了解這點，當他們來向你尋求援助時，他們真的認為需要你的幫助，你也認為你需要幫助他們，這完全沒問題。就是如此而已。所以隨時隨地的盡量幫助他人，應該這樣做。不過不要評論，不要認為他們真的瘋癲，真的很窮，真的需要你。他們看起來好像是，不過在永恆世界裡並不是如此。明白了?(眾人鼓掌)

所以開悟的人，幫忙卻好像沒幫一樣，瞭解他人、同情他人，但是不陷入他們的痛苦中，很中庸。因為如果我們和快淹死的人一起沉下去了，根本無法幫助他們。了解我的意思嗎?我們必須非常冷靜，非常清楚才行。

What one can do to help someone, who’s deeply, poychologically troubled?

disciple:I had a question that related to something the gentleman back there brought up, which deals with the nature of psychological illnesses. And I’ve thought a lot about it. My grandmother was institutionalized, and heard voices, and spent years banging her head against the wall, and was finally given a frontal lobotomy. So I spent a lot of time trying to understand what happened to her. And she’s dead now, so I’m not interested for her. But just, your booklet says we shouldn’t help people. I was told that she lived on a revolutionary war battle field. Somebody said that maybe she was haunted by the ghosts. Other people told me that sometimes you can have covers to your chaktras that get blown off and lower vibrational frequencies come in.

But I guess one question is, is there anything we can do to help these people, or do we just leave them to their own karma?

And the second question is, can you elaborate a little bit on what goes on, because sometimes you find people who have psychological problems. They try and they try, and they try to get past these, but you can’t stand being around them. But when you are away from them, you have a lot of compassion for them. How would you suggest when we run into people like that, like this gentleman seems to run into them all the time? How do we handle situations like that and not help them? How can we help them? Just by being who we are, and leave them to their own karma?

Master:Did I say you should not help people?

disciple: Well, it’s sort of the way I read it…

Master:You read it wrong. What am I doing here if we should not help people?

Disciple: I guess the way I read it is that you should’t go out and try to heal people.

Master: Oh, spiritual healing is different. I’m talking about spiritual healing, using your magical power to tamper with people’s consciousness. It’s different.

Disciple:Can you address a little bit about what one can do to help someone, who’s deeply, poychologically troubled?

Master: They will help themselves, in time. You help the best you can. The best you know how. We always have to help people if they need you. Doesn’t matter psychological, mental, material, spiritual, we always have to help people. But the amount of acceptance is up to them. Don’t forget, even if they are crazy, they are God. They play fool. They like that. They wake up in time. But you help as much as you can, for your own benefit. Otherwise, you don’t have compassion. It’s no good for you, see? You pray to them, you talk to them, you hold their hands, you bring them food. You do whatever is in your power to make you feel that you’re doing the right thing. That’s important. OK? It’s “you” who are important, not them. Really! They are playing fools to evoke your compassion. Yeah, they choose to be poor, so you can be generous. Hmm? They choose to be crazy, so you thank God that you are awakened. Everything has to have a contrast so that you recognize how good you are, how blessed you are, OK? It’s “you” who are important. Everyone is important to him or herself. Remember that. Whatever you do is for yourself. Nobody in the universe needs you anything. Truly speaking. But at that time, they don’t understand that. When they come to call you for help, they really also think they need you. And you also really think you need to help them. And that’s perfectly all right. That’s the way it is .OK? So do what you can, anytime, anywhere to help people. That’s a must, to evolve. OK? But don’t judge, don’t think they’re really nuts, they’re really poor, they really need you. They do seem that way, but in eternity, they are not. OK? ALL right.

That’s why, that why an enlightened person helps, but not helping. Understand people, sympathize with people, but don’t sink into their sorrow. Very balanced. Because if we drown together with the person who’s drowning, we can’t help them, either. See what I mean? Yes! We have to be very cool. Very cool. Very clear.

問: 您提供的打坐方法可以保護我們不受內在和外在否定力量的影響嗎？

答: 當然，一定會！不是打坐保護你，而是內在覺醒的力量保護你；也就是當你了悟到自己就是上帝後，內在這種開悟會保護你。聖經上說︰上帝住在你的內邊。我只是來告訴你們如何才能找到那位上帝，然後祂會保護你們。

打坐就是讓自己靜下來，這樣才能跟內在的上帝溝通。你越認識上帝，就越感到安全、感到深受關愛和保護。而且你的家人和朋友也會一起受到保護，甚至那些已經過世了幾百年、你根本不認識的親戚，還有在你之後的五代，也都會受到保護並提昇至天堂；這都是因為你內在的力量覺醒了。（大眾鼓掌）

問: 地球的未來是不是注定不變的？

假如每個人都沒有運用內在的力量，依然我行我素，那麼這個世界的未來就是注定不變的。但如果有許多人努力改善，了解宇宙的奧祕，並善用內在上帝的力量，那我們就可以改變這個星球的未來。

Q: Can the meditation You offer protect us so that we’re not affected by the negative forces from outside or within us?

M: Of course, definitely! It’s not the meditation that protects you, it is the awakening of your own power within yourself that will protect you. It is the knowing that you are God that will protect you. The Bible says that God lives within you. I am just going to show you how to find that God. Then Hes will protect you.

The meditation just means that you calm yourself down so that you can communicate with that God within you. The more you know that God, the more you feel secure, loved and protected. Your family and friends will also be protected along the way, even the ones who already died a hundred years ago and who you didn’t even know. Five generations behind you are also protected and uplifted to Heaven, due to the power of your awakening. (Applause)

Q: Is the future of our Earth fixed?

M: No, it’s not. We can make it better or make it worse. We have the power to change it, but only if we know how to get that power.

If everyone does nothing about their inner power and just stays the way they are, then the future of the world is fixed. But if some of us try to do better, try to know the secrets of the universe, and try to make use of the God power within, then we can change the future of the planet.

問: 像地獄之類的否定力量到底是什麼？為什麼會存在？上帝為何要讓我們知道它？

答: 事實上，否定的力量根本不存在，因為萬事萬物都是從上帝而來，所以否定的力量也是上帝的一部分，它也要執行自己分內的工作。為了使我們更強壯，就必須要有障礙、考驗和苦難。不過假如我們真心想再認識上帝，就沒有任何情況可以阻擋我們。

否定的力量只是為了提醒我們回歸天國，以避開所有這些痛苦跟否定的影響。有時碰到災難，我們反而會更誠心向上帝禱告。

Q: What is the negative force such as hell, and why does it exist? Why does God allow us to know it?

M: The negative power actually does not exist at all, because everything comes from God. So, the negative power is also part of God, and he is doing his job. Because in order to make us strong, there must be obstacles; there must be tests and tribulations. But if we truly want to know God again, nothing can stop us.

The negative power is there to remind us to go back to the Kingdom of God to avoid all this suffering and negative influence. Sometimes in a disaster, we pray to God more sincerely.

問: 如果說我們是上帝創造的，而我們也是上帝，那麼我們將可達到何種境界？

答: 我們會達到上帝的境界，會和上帝同一體，就像耶穌一樣。耶穌說：「我和我的天父同一體。」我們不會失去自我，失去的只是錯誤的認知，然後我們會認識自己真正的本來面目。我再說清楚一點：通常多數人都會認為他們自己就是那個身體及個性，但是「個性」並非「真我」，「個性」是被教出來的，使我們認為自己就是那樣，其實那只是經驗累積和世代相傳的知識，加上社會環境、背景以及教育的影響所造成的。

因此，有時我們會看到出生在同一個家庭的兩兄弟，因為結交的朋友不一樣、所受的教育不一樣、從事的工作不一樣，所以個性也不一樣。有時個性也可以經由訓練或教育而改變，所以那些受過良好教育的人和那些沒有受過教育的人，表現出來的行為會不一樣。像那些空中小姐的行為很模式化，她們總是很有禮貌並笑容可掬，因為她們被訓練成那樣，然後我們就認為她們是那些個性：噢！她真好！她很有修養、很有禮貌等等。其實那只是她所受的訓練及個人的背景而已，不是她的本來面目。只要有時間和機會，每個人都可以訓練成那樣。

所以一旦我們認識上帝或內在的佛性，就會了悟到自己並不是以前所想的那樣，我們會發現新的自我。實際上它本來就是這樣，只是現在才發現罷了。然後我們會了悟自己具有全然的愛心、寬容、智慧和慈悲，跟上帝完全一樣。我們會超越以往所收集的經驗、偏見、成見等垃圾，排除那些不正確的觀念及想法，因為這些都是由無知的人們、社會以及各種風俗所灌輸給我們的，不見得都是明智正確的。然後我們可以說：「我和天父同一體。」那時我們才能做真正的自己，並且從所有誤解的桎梏中解脫出來。然後我們可以說：「我和天父一樣完美。」

所以不要相信罪惡的事情，那只是表象而已。我們一定要對道德、智慧以及來自天父的神聖傳承，也就是智慧、慈悲和愛心有信心。就像這些糖果的包裝紙（師父拿起一顆糖果做示範），外面的包裝也許不一樣，但裡面的糖果都很甜，都是同一家公司生產的（大眾鼓掌）。你們看，如果不了解真理的本質，就很難愛我們的敵人，就不簡單原諒人們的過錯，可見真理多麼重要！所以我才告訴你們，耶穌是因為真理而留芳百世，不是為了祂的神蹟。我所說的也是同樣的真理，這些都是古代明師說過的，我只是提醒你們注意，並解釋得清楚些，使你們更容易了解。

Q: If we have been created by God that we are gods, too, then what is the level that we will reach?

M: We will reach God. We will become one with God, like Jesus did. Jesus said, “I and my Father are One.” We will not lose our identity. We just lose our false identity; then we know our true Nature. I’ll make it more clear for you: most of the time, most people identify themselves with their body and their personality. But the personality is not the real Self. The personality is what we are taught to be, what we are made to believe we are, which exists through the accumulation of experiences and the knowledge that is passed down to us from generation to generation, also through the influence of society and the surroundings and the background as well as by education.

Therefore, you may see two brothers who are born in the same family. But depending on what kind of friends they have, what kind of education they have, what kind of jobs they have, they both will have different personalities. And sometimes the personality can change through training or through different education. So, sometimes the one who is more educated behaves differently than the one who is not educated. For example, the hostess of the airplane behaves in a very uniform way - always polite, always smiling - because she is trained to do so. And then we identify that person with their personality: “Oh, she is very nice; she is like that; she is very courteous; she is very polite.” We should say this is her training or her background, not her Self. Everyone could be trained to become like that, if they had time and the opportunity.

So when we know God, or the God Nature within ourselves, then we know we are not anything that we thought before now. We will discover a new Self. Actually it’s very old, but newly discovered. Then we know that we are all loving, all forgiving, all wisdom, all compassion, exactly as God is. We will swim through the garbage of our collected experience and prejudice and preconceived ideas, and push away all the false ideas and notions, because these are given to us by the ignorant people and the society and all kind of customs, which are not always wise and correct. And then we can exclaim, “I and my Father are One!” Then we can be truly ourselves, liberated - liberated from all these false shackles of false understanding. Then we can say, “I am as perfect as the Father in Heaven is perfect.”

Therefore, do not believe in sin. It is only apparently so. We must believe in virtue and wisdom and the inheritance of our Father’s God, which is Godly, which is wisdom, which is compassion and love. Just like the wrapping of these candies: (Master demonstrates by holding up a wrapped candy) The wrapping may be different, but inside, it’s sweet; it’s the same company that made it. (Everyone applauds) You see, if we do not understand all these principles, then it’s not easy to love our enemies. It’s not easy to forgive the sins of the people. See how important the principles are? That’s why I told you that Jesus was famous, not for his miracles, but for His principles. And I also tell you the same principles. What I say, all the ancient Masters have already said. I just bring it to your notice and make it clearer for your understanding.

問: 我想了解您對報刊、廣播、電視等傳播媒體的角色的看法和意見。您是否認為媒體在某方面助長了人類之間的敵意？

答: 是，沒錯，我同意。報章雜誌、電視、廣播應該是服務人類、啟發民心、娛樂大眾的最佳工具，而在某些方面，他們的確盡了他們的責任。

但是在另一方面，這股傳播力量卻不小心被誤用了。因此有時在報刊、廣播、電視或戲院裡，會有一些不實、誤解、扭曲的新聞和暴力畫面，以及非常有害的演出。這些錯誤應該改正，因為那會加深國家、族群、派系之間的對立，這樣對和平毫無貢獻。

Q: My interest is to know Your impression or Your personal opinion about the role of the press, radio and television. Does it contribute in some way toward the hostility of humanity?

M: Yes, it’s true. I agree with you. The press and television or radio communication systems are supposed to be the best for the service of humankind, for the enlightening of people’s mind and the amusement of the people. And they have fulfilled their duty in some part.

But on the other hand, there were some careless maneuvers of this communicative power. Therefore, sometimes the false and the misunderstanding distortion of news and some kinds of violent pictures and very bad performance are shown on the press, on television, or radio or theater. This mistake should be corrected, because it deepens the hostility between the nations and groups and sects. And that doesn’t contribute to peace.

So I agree with the gentleman regarding his opinion about this matter. We should also do all that is in our power to remind the press and the radio and communication systems to remember their noble duty, and not to give way to partial sentiment or the fame and name of this world. They should select what’s healthy and enlightened to show to the people. And they should forsake what’s harmful, violent or a bad influence and should not show these to the people at large.

I do not mean that they should not report a true story. But I mean that they should not be adding to the violent nature of the world, with more violence and more imaginable violence, and imagining violence and all kinds of evil in the films and in the news and in the literature. That’s bad and has the worst effect on the children.

答：罪惡感是我們最糟糕的敵人。上帝愛我們，如果我們想愛自己，只有一個方法：首先要明白我們真正的本人。我們現在無法愛的這個「人」，不是真正的本人；這個會犯錯、喜歡喝咖啡、喜歡開快車、喜歡盯著鄰居老婆看的人，並不是真我！真我是光輝燦爛的、是榮耀的、是有力量的、是充滿愛心、具有慈悲心，跟宇宙、跟上帝同一體。所以唯有學習了解這個真我，我們才能愛自己。你們之所以愛我，是因為上帝在我裡面，你們感覺得到。透過這個肉體，你們可以感受到祂的存在，所以你們才會愛我；你們並不是因為這個小小的軀殼而愛我。如果你們要像愛我一樣地愛你們自己，必須學習認識真正的本人，我會教你們怎麼做。（大眾鼓掌）

只因為我們認為自己和上帝是隔開的，我們才和上帝隔開。所以有一個方法可以去除這個想法，直接超越它，去見上帝。然後你就會知道上帝就是你，你就是上帝的兒女，你是祂的一部分，你與祂同一體，就像大海裡的一滴水一樣，大海裡的一滴水也算是大海。

答：哇！問這個問題的人是非常虔誠的上帝子民，非常好的問題，我喜歡！因為多數人都是問：「如何要求上帝為我們做這個、做那個？」我還是第一次聽到：「我們能為上帝做些什麼？」真的好棒！

事實上在公元2000年，我們不需要為上帝做什麼，但是我們可以為自己做任何事，不管是在哪一年，因為我們必須認識上帝，然後才能直接問祂：「天父，您想要什麼？我能為您效勞嗎？」然後祂會說：「不，我的孩子，只要你快樂就好。因為當你開心，我就開心；當你快樂，我也快樂。」這是祂告訴我的。所以祂藉由各種方法來讓我們歡喜，讓我們要什麼就有什麼，即使是物質的東西或是對我們並不怎麼好的東西，只要我們想要，祂還是願意給我們，因為祂希望我們高興。只要我們快樂，天父也會快樂，每位當父親的都是這樣。

Q: We love You. But how can we love ourselves when we have so much guilt?

M: Guilt is our worst enemy. God loves us. If we want to love ourselves, there is only one way: Learn to know who we really are first. The one we cannot love now is not the real one. The one who makes mistakes, the one who likes to drink coffee, the one who likes to drive fast and the one whose eye on the neighbor’s wife is not our real Self! Our real Self is splendid, is glorious, is powerful, is loving, is compassionate, is “all-One” with the universe and with God. So, it’s only when we learn to know this real Self that we can love ourselves. You love me because God is in me, and you can feel that. You can feel Hirm through this physical body. That’s why you love me. You don’t love me because of this physical, small frame. So, in order to love yourself like that, you must learn to know who you really are. And I will show you. (Applause)

The only thing that separates us from God is our own thinking that God is separated from us. So there is a way to banish this thinking and go directly through, to see God. Then you know God is you, you are Hiers children. You are a part of Hirm and you are one with Hirm, just like the drop of water in the ocean. The drop of water in the ocean is also the ocean.

Q: What must we do for the Lord in the year 2000?

M: Wow! Whoever asked that question is a very, very devoted disciple of God. That is a very good question; I like that. Most of us always ask “how we can tell God to do this or do that for us.” This is the first time I’ve heard: “What can we do for the Lord?” And this is really nice.

Actually, we don’t have to do anything for God in the year 2000, but we could do everything or anything for ourselves, any year of any thousands, because we need to know God. Then we can ask Hirm directly, “Father, what do You want? Can I do something for You?” And Hes will say, “No, my child; just enjoy. Because when you enjoy, I enjoy. When you are happy, I am happy.” That’s what Hes told me. That’s why Hes tries in every way to please us, to give us whatever we want. Even if it’s something material or something also not very favorable to us, Hes will still give it if we want it, because Hes wants us to be happy. Because when we are happy, our Father is happy. Every father is like that!

所以你們看，當耶穌受難的時候，他沒有責怪天父，完全沒有！要不然他可以逃跑，他事前已經知道了，但是他沒有逃走，他心裡明白，因為天父已經對他說過他的時間到了，將要回到更高的境界、更好的地方，所以肉體受點苦難對他而言微不足道。同樣，對我們來說肉體的磨難、艱辛也算不了什麼，當面對死亡時，我們會笑著向此生道別，這就是開悟者的作風。所以一定要開悟，然後你們就會知道每件事情的緣由，你們根本不需要再問我或是問任何人，因為你們都已經了然於心。（大眾鼓掌）

問：如果上帝是慈悲、善良的，那如何解釋有大屠殺呢？

答：這些事情我怎麼一一解釋呢？上帝絕對是慈悲的，即使是大屠殺發生的時候。只是我們沒有見到祂慈悲的本質，我們想要另一種形式的慈悲，我們希望上帝依我們頭腦的想法做事。但是上帝有祂自己的智慧，有祂的目的和計 畫，不論是這世上的一枝小草、或是宇宙的任何角落都是這樣。

如果你們有機會上天堂，遇見那些在所謂大屠殺中受害的靈魂，你會知道他們離開了這個枷鎖、這個所謂的肉體之後，是多麼快樂、歡喜、美好、幸福和喜悅。他們一點也不遺憾，但是因為我們用肉眼去看，用凡胎的耳朵去聽，用凡夫的大腦去思考，用凡夫的心去感受，因此無法理解。可是如果我們上天堂，遇見上去那裡的人，他們根本沒事。

真正的受害者不是被屠殺的猶太人，而是那些迫害他們的人，因為那些人很無明，離上帝這麼遠，所以他們犯下罪業之後受好多痛苦。而那些所謂的受害者卻很快樂，他們離開了牢獄，了脫物質世界的限制，他們擁有了一切，這絕對是真的！他們非常快樂，我告訴你們。

那些迫害別人的人，才是真正受苦的人，而且要受苦好久。這是因為他們自己良知不安，而不是上帝懲罰他們。上帝從不處罰任何人或任何眾生，但因我們有自由意志，我們選擇去做什麼事，都會有後果。如果我們讓別人受苦，那種痛苦會報應到我們自己身上千百倍，這就是我們不斷學習功課的方式。所以無論誰傷害我們、對我們不好，要祝福他們，因為他們以後會有麻煩。（大眾鼓掌）

因此經典上才說：「愛你的敵人。」因為他們確確實實需要愛，他們真的非常需要，他們缺乏愛，他們得不到愛，他們非常匱乏，所以才會對其他同胞做出這些糟糕的事。而那些受害者，將得到上帝的憐愛、歡迎、和撫慰，他們的苦難會得到千百萬倍的補償，所以他們才是真正獲益很多的人，希望我這樣講夠清楚。（大眾鼓掌）謝謝！

Q: If God is kind and good, how can you explain the Holocaust?

M: How can I even explain everything else? God is kind, absolutely, even with the Holocaust. It’s just that we do not see the kindness the way it is; we expect kindness in a different way. We expect God to do things the way our brain thinks. But God has Hiers own wisdom and Hiers own purpose and plan for every single blade of grass on this planet and anywhere else in the universe.

If you have the opportunity to ascend to Heaven and meet the souls of the so-called victims of the Holocaust, you will hear from them what bliss, joy, beauty, blessing and happiness that they received after they left this physical prison, the so-called body. They will not have any regret at all. It’s just that we have seen it with the physical eyes; we hear with the physical ears; we think with our physical brain; we feel with our physical heart. So we cannot understand. But if we go to Heaven and meet the ones who have gone there, nothing ever happened to them.

The victims are not the Jewish people in the Holocaust. The victims are the ones who inflicted suffering on them. Because they are so ignorant and far from God, they suffer a lot for what they do. But the so-called victims enjoy: They leave the prison; they leave the limitations of this physical world. They have everything, absolutely! And they’re very happy. I want to tell you that.

Whoever inflicts suffering upon another being is the one who will suffer, and for a longer time. It’s because of their own conscience, not that God punishes them. God never ever punishes anyone or any being. It’s just that we have our free will; whatever we choose to do, there’s a consequence. If we choose to inflict suffering upon others, that suffering will return to us a thousand-fold. And that’s the way we have to learn all the time. So whoever victimizes us, whoever treats us badly, bless them, because they will be in trouble. (Applause)

That’s why in the Holy Scripture, it is said, “Love your enemies,” because they really, really need love. They really need it so much! They lack it; they don’t have it. They are so short of it. That’s why they can do all these terrible things to other brothers and sisters. The ones who are victimized will be loved by God, will be welcomed by God, will be comforted and will be compensated a thousand, million-fold to make up for their suffering. So they will be the ones who gain much, much, much. I hope I make myself clear. (Applause) Thank you.
